The Ultimus Turret

After having passing extensive combat testing against turrets, drones, ships and stationary targets, the Ultimus Turret Ground-to-Air defensive system has been declared fit for service within the OOB Standard Fleet.

The new turret design was ordered from Human Singularities, an influential shipbuilding firm operating within OOB Space. The Turret itself is designed , designed to assault enemy corvettes and fighters and provide an air defense screen for larger vessels, passed its combat trials with flying colours, proving itself to be capable of combating larger, quicker corvettes with ease and also show proficiency in shooting down missiles fired by frigates and cruisers. In numbers, it is thought that this ship could be as effective in air defence as a single air defense frigate.
